Flexible Hours: We can offer you the flexibility to have a home life and a career. On top of that there is no on call (unless you want to do it ;0) and you will only be asked to work one Saturday morning in 3 or 4.
Work In A Purpose Built Surgery: We think you will enjoy working in our modern surgery, complete with four bed treatment room, operating microscope, and computerised ECG. Your large consulting room has a flat screen monitor, laser printer, internet and email access, and is fully computerised with Plexus [formerly Medical Spectrum Systems MSS] all supported by an I.T savvy manager.
Professional Manager: You will have professional support from mature aged reception staff and a dedicated practice manager.
The Pay:
We will pay you 60% of your billings PLUS 9% super. Given the high percentage of private patients and our progressive billing methods you will be well rewarded for your hard work.
Our Billing:
Be part of a truly progressive practice with five other GP's, four female, one Male. Vienna Road Family Practice has adopted a billing philosophy which has seen our private billing percentage rise to over 90%. We charge $53 for a standard 15 minute consultation after which we charge $3.50 per minute [tracked by the computer]. Good medicine costs... you know it..... we know it.... and so do our patients!
Family Matters! Our vision says, 'have balance both professionally and personally'... if you want to work 50 hour weeks, go for it, you will earn a tidy sum. However, we understand that you have a life outside the surgery so we set our fees to earn a good income in a sane time frame.
Want to take 6wks annual leave, go for it, want a day off for the kids swimming carnival, go for it... just give us a little notice, that's all we ask.

Day Care Next Door: There is a day care centre next door... there are numerous public and private schools in our immediate area.
Live In Style: You could choose to live on the water in Queensland’s premier canal development, in a modern high-rise unit overlooking the sea or enjoy living with horses in a rural setting on acreage [as one of our GP's do] all of which are within 5 minutes drive of the surgery.
Cinemas and Cafes: Within 10 minutes of our practice are two cinema complexes and some of Brisbane's best al-la-carte dining.

Qualifications:
The successful applicant must:
•Have Vocational Registration in Australia.
•Be able to supply good work references.
•Supply details of medical indemnity insurance.
•Supply details of medical registration.
•Supply photo ID.
RACGP Trainees:
Vienna Road Family Practice is able to offer SGPE (subsequent GP experience) placements, thats 'mentoring time' in the old language.
Doctors Trained Outside Australia:
Please do not apply if you do not have Vocational Registration currently.
